While Hogan Taylor Beckham, LLC is a new name in financial and insurance services in the area, we are by no means “new” to the business.
Al Hogan began in the industry in the early 1980’s. Over the years, he’s seen how the marketplace has developed and he has changed with the times. He continues to strive to address each client’s insurance needs and offer solutions that are client-specific.
In 2007, Al partnered with Chris Taylor to form Hogan Taylor Miller, LLC. Chris brings a great deal of experience to the table, having worked for Morgan Stanley for a number of years. During that relationship, he realized he wanted to have his focus be the development of comprehensive financial plans with less concentration on asset management. In partnering with Al Hogan, he was able to achieve his goal.
In 2010, Chris and Al realized if they were to reach their goal of being a “full-service” firm, they needed to find someone with the same level of expertise to head the group and individual health division. Enter Marshall Beckham.
Marshall owns his own highly successful health insurance agency, having assumed ownership of Maybank & Beckham, LLC, a well-established brokerage located in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2008. With Marshall joining the firm as a partner, Al, Chris and Marshall are able to offer our clients the best solutions to the thorniest problems.
